Európai újságírói pályázat az Önkéntesség Európai Éve kapcsán

Az Önkéntesség Európai Évének európai szintű kommunikációját felvállaló P.A.U. Education kommunikációs ügynökség meghirdette az újságíróknak szóló pályázatot az önkéntesség európai szintű népszerűsítése érdekében. Az Uniós tagállamokból 27 újságíró kerül kiválasztásra, akik az alábbi kiírásnak megfelelően az önkéntes programokat mutathatnak majd be kisfilmek készítésén keresztül.

Volunteer! Make a difference… and be one of the European Year of Volunteering 2011 reporters

The European Union has designated 2011 as the European Year of Volunteering, in order to show its appreciation for the millions of volunteers who come forward to make a difference every day.

Volunteering is a core expression of civic participation and democracy, putting European values such as solidarity and non-discrimination into action. The campaign will highlight the commitment of people who, in their daily lives, manage through their dedication to contribute to build a better world.

We want to select one reporter in each Member State to volunteer and report from the field on the extraordinary stories of volunteers. The 27 volunteers that will be selected will join in a relay that will successively tour the 27 Member States.

The relay will be officially launched in Brussels on 6 December 2010. Each volunteer will receive filming equipment and his trip to another Member State fully organised. The content that will be created will be broadcast throughout Europe during the campaign.

If you have volunteering experience and a video and journalistic background, you can apply to be one of the 27 campaign reporters.
You must send the following elements by 9 August to enter the selection process:

Fully completed participation form. You can download it here A full CV indicating studies, professional experiences and languages spoken. A motivation letter, written in English, explaining why you are interested in participating voluntarily in the reporting mission. The YouTube link to your best video production to date (5 minutes maximum) Details of previous experience travelling alone in a foreign country. Any other references that you feel may be useful.
